Huzhou, July 13th (trainee reporter Shi Zinan correspondent Gu Xinwei) On the 13th, the reporter learned that the Public Security Bureau of Nantaihu New District, Huzhou, Zhejiang Province and the Netan Department of Huzhou Public Security Bureau had detected an obscene performance case organized by a webcast platform and arrested 13 suspects, involving more than 10 million yuan.
In this case, a live webcast platform was set up, and a one-to-one live broadcast mode was used to organize female anchors to perform obscene performances. The method was novel and hidden, and the content of obscene performances was extremely large, which had a bad impact on the cyberspace environment.
In April 2019, the sub-bureau received a report from the masses, saying that after downloading and installing a female anchor live APP application on the mobile phone, it was found that the female anchor of the platform would perform obscene performances after receiving a high reward during the live broadcast, and the victim herself had already rewarded tens of thousands of yuan on the platform.
After receiving the report, the sub-bureau immediately set up a task force to carry out investigations. After expanding the line layer by layer, it completely grasped the sample of the APP involved, the organization structure of the gang, the capital flow involved, and extracted more than 6,000 videos of obscene performances, totaling 120GB.
In early June, after nearly 40 days of investigation, the task force successively arrested three people, including platform founder Jin, in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, Ganzhou, Jiangxi and Changsha, Hunan, and seized three computers, six mobile phones, one car and several bank cards used in the crime, and at the same time arrested 10 female anchors, including Li Moumou, who was suspected of organizing obscene performances.
It was found that the live broadcast platform was jointly funded by criminal suspects. The platform recruited female anchors to conduct one-on-one video chat with the audience on the platform, managed the female anchors through performance rewards, revenue sharing, title punishment and other measures, and instructed the female anchors to post links on the Internet to promote them, attracting users to enter the platform to buy gifts and reward them in exchange for the obscene performances of the female anchors.
As of the time of the incident, the platform has accumulated more than 90,000 registered users and 215 registered anchors, most of whom are involved in obscene performances, distributed in many provinces across the country, and the average daily recharge of the platform is about 60,000 yuan, with a total recharge amount of more than 10 million yuan.
At present, 13 suspects have been detained in criminal detention, and the next step will be to increase the arrest and recovery of other suspects.
