A few days ago, BYD Auto Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision according to the requirements of the Regulations on the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recall and the Measures for the Implementation of the Regulations on the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recall. Since May 20, 2024, a total of 16,666 seagull electric vehicles produced between April 7, 2023 and May 31, 2023 have been recalled.

A few days ago, Aston Martin Laguna (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision according to the requirements of the Regulations on the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recall and the Implementation Measures of the Regulations on the Management of Defective Automobile Product Recall. From now on, the following vehicles will be recalled.
1. Recall 11 DBX I6 vehicles produced from May 17, 2022 to August 9, 2022.
2. Recall 26 DBX707 cars produced from September 30, 2022 to July 19, 2023.
3. Recall 1,088 DBX vehicles produced from May 7, 2020 to September 28, 2022; A total of 96 DBX707 cars were produced from January 27, 2022 to September 30, 2023; A total of 710 DBX I6 vehicles were produced from September 7, 2021 to August 31, 2023.
4. Recall one DBX vehicle with the production date of November 10, 2020.

For some vehicles within the scope of this recall (1), the fixing nuts of the 48V battery cable of the fuse box after connection are not properly tightened. Loose nuts may cause the fuse box to be damaged by heat or the vehicle to lose power, resulting in engine flameout, loss of headlights, electric power assisted steering and other functions, increasing the risk of accidents of the vehicle and posing potential safety hazards.
For some vehicles within the scope of this recall (II), pits and nail marks may be formed on the inner wall of the hose of the oil cooler due to the manufacturing process. In extreme cases, the hose may crack, resulting in the instantaneous loss of oil and oil pressure, causing the engine to stall, increasing the risk of accidents or fires in the vehicle, and posing potential safety hazards.
For some vehicles within the scope of this recall (3), the fixing nut of the cable in the fuse box of 12V battery may be loose, which may cause the fuse box to be damaged by heat or the vehicle to lose power, resulting in engine flameout, loss of headlights, electric power assisted steering and other functions, increasing the risk of accidents of vehicles and posing potential safety hazards.
The bolts of the vehicles, front transmission shaft and front differential within the recall scope (4) do not reach the specified tightening torque, and the bolts may loosen during the driving of the vehicles, which may lead to the loss of the front wheel driving function in extreme cases, posing a safety hazard.

For the vehicles within the scope of recall (1), Aston Martin Laguna (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. will tighten the 48V battery cable fixing nuts for the vehicles within the scope of recall free of charge through authorized dealers, and replace the rear fuse box and 48V battery cable if they are damaged, so as to eliminate potential safety hazards.
For the vehicles within the recall scope (2), Aston Martin Laguna (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. will replace the oil cooler hoses for the vehicles within the recall scope free of charge through authorized dealers to eliminate potential safety hazards.
For the vehicles within the recall range (3), Aston Martin Laguna (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. will install new cable fixing elements for the vehicles within the recall range through authorized dealers and tighten them as required to eliminate potential safety hazards.
For the vehicles within the scope of recall (4), Aston Martin Laguna (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. will check the bolt torques of the front drive shaft and the front differential for the recalled vehicles through authorized dealers, and tighten them as required to eliminate potential safety hazards.
