From the perspective of sub-sectors
Traditional industries account for the bulk.
In terms of industry classification, there are 56 manufacturing enterprises, 30 service enterprises and 14 construction enterprises among the top 100 enterprises. Among them, there are 8 new enterprises on the list, which has changed the situation that a certain industry was listed on the list in the past, and new enterprises from all industries have been shortlisted, including 2 in construction, 2 in trade, 1 in real estate, 1 in chemical industry, 1 in automobile and motorcycle parts and 1 in power production.
Another significant change is that the sales of the hundredth of the top 100 enterprises this year is 506 million yuan, which is slightly higher than that of the previous session, making the entry threshold return to 500 million yuan.
Transformation and upgrading, traditional manufacturing is difficult, but it is also a new growth point with great potential, which can be seen from this year’s top 100 list. According to statistics, the top 100 enterprises achieved a total sales of 221.346 billion yuan, an increase of 3.32% over the previous year, while the total net profit and total assets also increased significantly, showing a rapid development trend as a whole. The sales of 56 manufacturing enterprises reached 134.412 billion yuan, accounting for 60.73% of the total sales of the top 100, an increase of 1.61 percentage points over the previous session.
There are 38 top 100 enterprises in the five traditional industries of electrical appliances, clothing, chemicals, shoe leather and automobile and motorcycle parts, accounting for 67.86% of the top 100 manufacturing enterprises, with total sales of 110.656 billion yuan, accounting for 82.34% of the total sales of the top 100 manufacturing industries, and these two proportions are increasing every year, indicating that Wenzhou’s manufacturing industry has always been dominated by traditional industries.

Among the top 100 enterprises, there are three companies whose net profit exceeds 1 billion yuan, namely Senma Group, Zhengtai Group and Wenzhou Bank Co., Ltd., an increase of one over the previous one; There are 26 enterprises with a net profit of 100 million yuan to 1 billion yuan, an increase of 7 over the previous session. There are 69 enterprises with increasing net profit, an increase of 14 over the previous session. Among them, there are 13 enterprises with a growth rate of over 100%, an increase of 2 compared with the previous session, and 41 enterprises with a growth rate of 10%-100%, an increase of 14 compared with the previous session.
According to analysis, the total net profit of the top 100 companies reached 14.456 billion yuan, an increase of 7.98% over the previous year. Among them, the average income profit rate was 6.53%, an increase of 0.28 percentage points over the previous session. Judging from the average income, profit rate and average asset profit of manufacturing, service and construction industries, the growth of the net profit of the top 100 this year mainly benefited from the service industry.
Out of the list of top 100 enterprises, service enterprises have the strongest growth. Judging from the reaction of several key indicators, the total profit and total assets of the top 100 service enterprises have increased significantly, with an increase of 34.12% compared with last year, and the service enterprises are gradually entering a profit cycle. In particular, the integration of service industry and manufacturing industry will not only promote the upgrading of Wenzhou manufacturing, but also open a new channel for Wenzhou to lead to the blue ocean of producer services.
From the perspective of transformation and upgrading
R&D and innovation become a consensus
Analyzing the list of the top 100 companies, a positive trend is that in the list of the top 100 companies, technological innovation has become a distinctive label for many selected companies.
A total of 66 companies in this year’s top 100 enterprises have reported R&D investment data. The data shows that the total R&D expenditure of these 66 companies is 4.18 billion yuan, an increase of 15.82% over last year, which has maintained a growth rate of nearly doubling for two consecutive years. R&D investment accounted for 2.51% of the total sales of the declared enterprises, an increase of 0.38 percentage points over the previous session, and the growth rate far exceeded the previous top 100.
This year’s top 100 enterprises have a total of 6,559 patents, an increase of 14.11%, maintaining the momentum of rapid growth as in the previous session; Among them, there were 835 inventions, an increase of 27.29% over the previous session, which is amazing. Zhengtai Group Co., Ltd. continues to rank first with more than one billion yuan of R&D investment. There are five enterprises that invested more than 100 million yuan in R&D, an increase of one over the previous session; There are 44 enterprises with RMB 10 million-RMB 100 million, which is the same as last year.
Among them, the top 10 enterprises with declared R&D investment accounted for 70% of the total R&D expenditure of the top 100 enterprises, accounting for 3.94% of the total sales on average, with a total of 3,358 patents and 517 invention patents, accounting for 51.2% and 61.92% of the total patents and invention patents respectively.
This meaningful change comes from the deep integration of industrialization and informatization in the whole city. For example, Aokang Group, ranked 7th among the top 100 companies, effectively integrates the attributes of Internet and manufacturing to realize personalized high-end customization. In product research and development, Delixi, ranked 5th, invests 3% of its sales in scientific research and development every year, and has built a research and development team with nearly 1,000 people. With innovation and R&D, the total sales, profits and assets of the top 100 enterprises accounted for 33.56%, 52.52% and 19.94% of the total of the top 100 enterprises respectively.
From the perspective of social contribution
Tax revenue and employment are rising.
Among the top 100 enterprises, the contribution rate to society has reached the highest in the past years.
The total tax payment of the top 100 enterprises reached 13.615 billion yuan, an increase of 26.31% over the previous year, and the growth rate increased by 1.2 times. In addition to Senma Group and Zhengtai Group, two new tax benchmark enterprises with a total tax payment of more than 1 billion yuan have been added to the top 100, namely State Grid Zhejiang Ruian Power Supply Co., Ltd. and Ruizhou Construction Group Co., Ltd.; There are 23 enterprises with a total tax payment of 100-1 billion yuan this year, an increase of 2 over the previous year.
The top 100 enterprises have also made important contributions to the society in solving and providing a large number of jobs. The number of employees in the top 100 enterprises continued to grow, reaching 296,500, an increase of 9,100, or 3.17%. Among them, there are 17 enterprises with 500-1000 employees, 32 enterprises with 1000 -5000 employees, 11 enterprises with 5000 -10000 employees and 8 enterprises with more than 10000 employees.
A distinctive feature is that the number of employees in the top 100 enterprises has maintained a small growth, which is in sharp contrast with the rapid growth of net profit, total assets, total tax payment, R&D investment and the number of patents.
