In the past 22 years, Jin Baofang has developed a small factory with only 10 employees and 3 single crystal furnaces into a top enterprise in the global new energy industry with total assets exceeding 30 billion yuan and more than 30,000 employees, and has been the top taxpayer in Ningjin County, Hebei Province for the 16th consecutive year.

Jin Baofang was born in a peasant family in Ningjin County, Hebei Province. He lost his father at the age of 3 and grew up with his mother. There have been two floods in his hometown, and the villagers all spent it on national disaster relief food. Although life as a teenager is hard, Jin Baofang did not complain, but was grateful for the help of the society and the villagers. He believes that a person who suffers a little when he is a child will benefit for life in the future.
After graduating from technical secondary school, Jin Baofang came to work in Ningjin County Agricultural Machinery Bureau. At that time, the agricultural machinery company was on the verge of bankruptcy, and he volunteered to be the manager of the agricultural machinery company. After eight years of hard work, Jin Baofang has made this unit facing bankruptcy a banner of the national agricultural machinery system.
Due to outstanding work performance, the Ningjin County Party Committee Government promoted Jin Baofang as the Party Secretary of the Electric Power Bureau. The power bureau was separated from the agricultural machinery company by a wall, and it was also a mess at that time. However, since Jin Baofang became the Party Secretary of the Electric Power Bureau, the Electric Power Bureau has taken on a new look within two years and won the title of civilized unit in Hebei Province for 15 consecutive years. Ningjin County, which was originally a "power-poor county", has used safe electricity for every household.

Due to his experience in the electric power bureau, Jin Baofang came into contact with photovoltaics. In 1996, he founded a photovoltaic enterprise with the dream of "developing solar energy for the benefit of all mankind". In the following years, the enterprise grew bigger and stronger, and it also showed its head in the world.
However, no matter how the role changes and the position changes, the simplicity of Jin Baofang’s life has not changed, and the gratitude that persists in his heart has not changed. Once the society gave him "warmth", now he wants to use more "sunshine" to return.
Jin Baofang, the "sunshine messenger", is constantly involved in public welfare undertakings. In addition to donating hope primary school and museum, charity caring action, charity bright action and charity vision intervention project, he also devoted himself to solving the problem of blindness and poverty caused by cataract and helping more than 100 people. Up to now, Jin Baofang’s contributions to various social welfare undertakings have accumulated over 200 million yuan.
